Himmelblau, Germany and Europe’s first German-language travel magazine, has published an article entitled “San Daniele, Amore Mio” which offers readers an overview of Friuli, calling the region Italy at its most authentic where you can find the world’s best prosciutto.

For us, it was a huge satisfaction to see next to the headline a double-page photograph of Arianna Prolongo testing the aroma and maturation of the hams. An example of how an ancient craft tradition, the processing and maturing of Prosciutto di San Daniele, has plenty of space for talented women.

We, the third generation of Prolongos, are ready to take up the challenge and gladly throw the doors open to German-speaking markets so consumers can come to know and appreciate us.
